St. Jude Novena:

About our St. Jude Novena Prayer: St. Jude is the patron saint of desperate and hopeless cases. He is also called the patron saint of lost causes. We say our St. Jude Novena Prayer each Monday after the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Rosary and Benediction.

St. Jude a Novena Prayer
Almighty God, in your great mercy,
hear our humble prayer for those in special need:
for those without faith,
for those without hope,
and for those without love;
for those without dignity and self-respect,
for the grief-stricken and the sorrowful,
for the down-trodden and the despised,
for the neglected and the abandoned,
for the lonely and the unloved,
for the guilty and the ashamed,
for those who are poor and put down,
and for all crushed, hurt and wounded people.
You have given us St. Jude your Apostle as our patron;
by his intercession and for the sake of your Name
grant what we ask through Christ our Lord.

  Here at St. Simon and St. Jude church, we start all masses by saying our Stewardship prayer together;

 Prayer for the Call to Stewardship

God our loving Father, pour out on us afresh the gifts of your Holy Spirit.

Open ours ears to hear your Word,

open our eyes to see your presence,

open our minds to understand your Wisdom and

open our hearts to be more available for your mission

so that strengthened by your grace

we can truly be a sign and instrument of your presence in our world today.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
