These are the suggested hymns for the month of January, selected from the Southwark Diocese Music Planner. We will rehearse on Mondays and depending on rehearsals and availability of musicians will then choose the repertoire, therefore the hymn numbers may be subject to change. 

The final selected hymns will appear on the main web page Hymns. Updates of the final version will be posted 24 hours after the Monday rehearsal.

The Epiphany of the Lord (C) – 6th January 2019
The revelation of Christ to the world. We join all the people of the world in worshipping the infant King of the Jews.

Baptism of the Lord


The Baptism of The Lord (C) – 13th January 2019

The Father anointed his beloved son, Jesus, with the Holy Spirit and with power, to bring healing and peace to all nations.

This feast marks the end of Christmastide, so a final round of carols are still appropriate.

Today is a day of rejoicing in the New Law which Christ has given us and which unites us with him, binds us together as his people, and enables us to work together for his Kingdom. We listen to the words of the Law and ponder them in our hearts
